Job 28:1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it. MC VC

Job 28:2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone. MC VC

Job 28:3 He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death. MC VC

Job 28:4 The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men. MC VC

Job 28:5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire. 2 I MC VC

Job 28:6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold. MC VC

Job 28:7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen: MC VC

Job 28:8 The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it. MC VC

Job 28:9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots. MC VC

Job 28:10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing. MC VC

Job 28:11 He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light. MC VC

Job 28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding? 8 I MC VC

Job 28:13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living. 8 I MC VC

Job 28:14 The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me. MC VC

Job 28:15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof. MC VC

Job 28:16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire. MC VC

Job 28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold. MC VC

Job 28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies. 4 I MC VC

Job 28:19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold. MC VC

Job 28:20 Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding? 4 I MC VC

Job 28:21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air. 4 I MC VC

Job 28:22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears. MC VC

Job 28:23 God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. MC VC

Job 28:24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; MC VC

Job 28:25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. MC VC

Job 28:26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: 2 I MC VC

Job 28:27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. MC VC

Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. 15 I MC VC

Job 38:1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 1 I MC VC

Job 38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 1 I MC VC

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 11 I MC VC

Job 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 3 I MC VC

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? 3 I MC VC

Job 38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? MC VC

Job 38:9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, MC VC

Job 38:10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, MC VC

Job 38:11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? MC VC

Job 38:12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; MC VC

Job 38:13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? MC VC

Job 38:14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. MC VC

Job 38:15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. MC VC

Job 38:16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? MC VC

Job 38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all. 1 I MC VC

Job 38:19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, MC VC

Job 38:20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof? MC VC

Job 38:21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great? MC VC

Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, MC VC

Job 38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? MC VC

Job 38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? 2 I MC VC

Job 38:25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder; MC VC

Job 38:26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man; 4 I MC VC

Job 38:27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth? MC VC

Job 38:28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. MC VC

Job 38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? 1 I MC VC

Job 38:33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? MC VC

Job 38:34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee? MC VC

Job 38:35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are? MC VC

Job 38:36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? 7 I MC VC

Job 38:37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven, 1 I MC VC

Job 38:38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together? MC VC

Job 38:39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions, 2 I MC VC

Job 38:40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait? MC VC

Job 38:41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat. 6 I MC VC

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 40 I MC VC

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 8 I MC VC

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 26 I MC VC

John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 8 I MC VC

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 23 I MC VC

John 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 4 I MC VC

John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 8 I MC VC

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 16 I MC VC

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. 11 I MC VC

John 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 2 I MC VC

John 1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. 2 I MC VC

John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. 2 I MC VC

John 1:22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? MC VC

John 1:23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. 10 I MC VC

John 1:24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. MC VC

John 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? 2 I MC VC

John 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; 6 I MC VC

John 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose. 6 I MC VC

John 1:28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 2 I MC VC

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 19 I MC VC

John 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 2 I MC VC

John 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 2 I MC VC

John 1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 6 I MC VC

John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 12 I MC VC

John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. 12 I MC VC

John 1:35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 4 I MC VC

John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 8 I MC VC

John 1:37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. MC VC

John 1:38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? MC VC

John 1:39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. MC VC

John 1:40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. MC VC

John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. MC VC

John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. MC VC

John 1:43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. 2 I MC VC

John 1:44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. MC VC

John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 6 I MC VC

John 1:46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. 6 I MC VC

John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 6 I MC VC

John 1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. MC VC

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 8 I MC VC

John 1:50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. MC VC

John 1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. 10 I MC VC
